THE PELICAN PROMISE

The Pelican Promise is our commitment to our community and the world we live in. Our Promise is to spend more time giving than taking, to not take for granted the opportunities afforded to us in our great country and to do our part in leveling the playing field for those without the same opportunities. A portion of our profits from each job are put back into our community. Our customer’s help us choose which charitable effort(s) these funds will support.

COVERING ACADIANA

Every month we select at least one individual to be the recipient of the Covering Acadiana outreach. Our customers and community nominate individuals who cannot afford to repair their roof leaks and are living with water entering their homes, and we provide repairs at no charge. If you would like to nominate someone in need, please contact us using our quick contact form.

COMITANCILLO OUTREACH

Pelican Roofing is the leading sponsor for our new outreach project located in Comitancillo, Guatemala. Guatemala is one of the poorest countries in Central America, with Comitancillo being one of the poorest provinces. Many of the people in Comitancillo live in villages up in the mountains of this remote town where they face harsh living conditions, little to no access to health care and very little opportunity to improve their day-to-day life. Many of the children in Comitancillo are not educated because their families cannot afford to purchase books, school supplies and uniforms. Our mission in Comitancillo is to help meet some of these immediate needs, but also address the larger problem of access to opportunity.
